మా విధానం

పాత రచన, ఆన్‌లైన్ స్కాన్, PDF, వెబ్‌సైట్ పాఠం, అనువాదం లేదా రికార్డింగ్ — ఏదీ ఉచితంగా ప్రచురించవచ్చని భావించం. ప్రతి రచనకు, ప్రతి ప్రతికి (edition) హక్కుల నిర్ణయం నమోదు చేస్తాం: రచయిత ఎవరు, ఏ ప్రతి, ఏ ఆధారం, హక్కుల స్థితి, ఏ షరతులు, ఏ వినియోగం అనుమతి ఉంది (పూర్తి పాఠం, భాగం, లింకు మాత్రమే, పంచుకునే చిత్రం). ఆ నిర్ణయం ఆమోదం పొంది, పాఠాన్ని చూపడానికి అనుమతిస్తేనే పాఠం ప్రచురితమవుతుంది; లేకపోతే సైట్ నిర్మాణ వ్యవస్థే ఆ పేజీని ప్రచురించనివ్వదు.

We never assume that an old work, an online scan, a PDF, text on a website, a translation or a recording is free to republish. For every work and every edition we record a rights decision: who created it, which edition, which source, its rights status, any conditions, and which uses are allowed (full text, excerpt, link only, share image). Text is published only when that decision is approved and allows the text to be shown; otherwise the site's build refuses to publish the page.

పాఠాన్ని ఎలా ఎంచుకుంటాం

We show original text only under the first three labels, and only as far as the rights decision allows (full text, or an excerpt only). An edition's own editorial matter (introduction, notes, translation, commentary) can have rights separate from the original work, so we examine it separately. A work whose text we cannot show may still have a page with bibliographic details, our own description and links to authorised sources. "Where to read it" links go only to authorised sources recorded in an approved rights decision. Links for further reading and viewing are links only; nothing is embedded on this site. The site currently publishes no recordings.

ఆపాదన, క్రెడిట్

Pages show the author, the edition, the editors, the source and any credit a licence requires. We say honestly how certain an attribution is (verified, traditionally attributed, disputed, folk, unknown). People who contribute a song, story or similar material are credited as they choose: by name, with a place, or anonymously. Share images that quote original text (a proverb, an idiom or a verse) are offered only for records whose rights decision allows them; every image carries the site name, and proverb, idiom and verse images also carry an attribution line.

Please do not copy, republish or reproduce them, or our compilation and arrangement of the material, without our written permission; short quotations are fine as the law allows, with credit and a link to the page. To ask for permission, choose the "Rights and permissions" topic on the contact form. Rights in the original works stay with their rights holders; this site claims none. Share images are the one exception: the terms of use give a separate permission for them.

If you believe your work, edition, image or information is here without permission, or the credit is wrong, tell us through the rights and takedown form. We confirm that we have your report; where appropriate we take the page down while we look into it; then we decide to remove it, correct the credit, or keep it and explain why, tell you the outcome and keep a record. Response times will be stated on that form's page once the site owner confirms them; no deadline has been promised yet.
