ఆధారాలు

We cite scholarly books, critical editions, reputable libraries, primary editions and named experts. We never cite a source we have not checked. For each important statement we record which source supports it and where in that source. On pages about authors, works, concepts and categories, widely known facts may be stated plainly without a citation (an editorial decision), and uncertain details are marked as approximate or "subject to verification". Interpretive or disputed points, and everything about original text, rights, attribution and recorded exact dates, always carry a source; a word, proverb or verse without its evidence is not published, and the site's build refuses to publish one.

We explain what something is in our own words (with a source where a point needs one), and may then point to further reading and viewing elsewhere (articles, books, archives, videos). These are links only: nothing is embedded, played or copied on this site. We link only to material uploaded by the rights holder or clearly authorised; if in doubt, we leave it out. These links are not citations: a point that needs a source has its own. The site currently publishes no recordings.

Original text, our explanation (word split, word meanings, overall meaning and so on), translation and criticism are kept visibly separate on the page. We say honestly how certain an attribution is (verified, traditionally attributed, disputed, folk, unknown). The published site shows only reviewed translations; an unreviewed translation appears only in review previews, labelled "unreviewed".

Every record needs at least one language review and one subject review; the site's build refuses to publish a record until both are approved. The page shows the date of the last review. Whether the reviewer is named publicly is the editors' decision; where no name is shown, the page says "editorial review completed". Demo records and drafts never appear on the published site.
హక్కులు

We never assume a work is free to republish because it is old. Text is published only after a rights decision is recorded and approved for that work or edition. Details are on the copyright and permissions page.

We use AI to help prepare explanations (such as word splits, word meanings, overall meanings and summaries), and it may also assist with outlines, formatting, transliteration and quality checks. A page where AI helped says so, and the editors check it against the sources before publication. AI never invents literary facts, quotations, attributions or citations, and never publishes unreviewed text.

Every reference page has a "suggest a correction" link, and the corrections form is linked at the foot of every page. We review each report and correct the page where needed; if the meaning changes, the reviewers approve it again. If a published page is wrong in a way that matters, we may withdraw it until it is fixed. How we store your report is explained in the privacy policy.

If you have a rights concern about any text, image or information, or want to withdraw something you contributed, use the rights and takedown form. Where appropriate we take the page down while we look into it, then decide and tell you the outcome.

There is no advertising on the site today. If ads are ever shown, they will be clearly labelled as advertising and kept apart from the content and the navigation, and advertisers will have no say in what any page says.
