ఆకలి అంటే తినాలనిపించే కోరిక; కడుపు ఖాళీగా ఉన్నప్పుడు కలిగే భావన.

Akali means hunger: the feeling of wanting to eat that comes when the stomach is empty.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. కడుపు ఖాళీగా ఉన్నప్పుడు తినాలనిపించే భావన; క్షుద్బాధ.

    Hunger: the feeling of needing food that comes when one has not eaten for some time.

    ఆకలి వేస్తోంది, ఆకలిగా ఉంది అని చెబుతారు. తినాలనే కోరిక లేకపోతే ఆకలి లేదు అంటారు.

    • ఉదయం నుంచి తినలేదు, చాలా ఆకలిగా ఉంది. — I have not eaten since morning; I am very hungry.
    • ఆటలు ఆడి వచ్చాక పిల్లలకు బాగా ఆకలి వేసింది. — After playing, the children felt very hungry.
