దంతం అంటే నోటిలో ఉండి ఆహారాన్ని కొరకడానికి, నమలడానికి ఉపయోగపడే పన్ను; ఏనుగు కొమ్ములా పెరిగే పొడవైన పన్నును కూడా దంతం అంటారు.

Dantam means a tooth, one of the hard parts in the mouth used for biting and chewing; it also means the long tusk of an elephant.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. నోటిలో ఉండి ఆహారాన్ని కొరకడానికి, నమలడానికి ఉపయోగపడే గట్టి భాగం; పన్ను.

    In everyday speech the plain word పన్ను is more common; దంతం is more formal.

  2. ఏనుగు నోటి నుంచి బయటకు పొడవుగా పెరిగే కొమ్ము వంటి పన్ను.
