ధర్మం

ధర్మం అంటే ఒకరు ఆచరించవలసిన కర్తవ్యం, న్యాయమైన ప్రవర్తన; అలాగే ఒక వస్తువు యొక్క సహజ లక్షణం.

Dharmam means duty and right conduct, what a person ought to do; it also means the inherent nature or property of a thing.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. ఒకరు ఆచరించవలసిన కర్తవ్యం; న్యాయమైన, నీతి గల ప్రవర్తన.

    Duty, right conduct: what a person ought to do; just and moral behaviour. The word carries wider religious and philosophical meanings in traditional texts, which are not covered here.

    • పెద్దలను గౌరవించడం మన ధర్మం. — Respecting elders is our duty.

  2. ఒక వస్తువు యొక్క సహజ లక్షణం.

    The natural property or characteristic of a thing.

    • నీరు పల్లం వైపు ప్రవహించడం దాని ధర్మం. — It is the nature of water to flow downhill.
