ఎడమ అంటే కుడికి వ్యతిరేకమైన పక్క లేదా దిశ.

Edama means left: the side or direction opposite to the right.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. శరీరానికి, వస్తువుకు లేదా దారికి కుడికి ఎదురుగా ఉండే పక్క; ఆ పక్కకు చెందినది.

    Left; the side opposite to the right, or something belonging to that side.

    విశేషణంగా నామవాచకం ముందు వస్తుంది (ఎడమ చేయి); పక్కను చెప్పేటప్పుడు "ఎడమవైపు" అని వాడతారు.

    • ఎడమ చేత్తో రాసే పిల్లలు చాలామంది ఉన్నారు. — Many children write with the left hand.
    • రెండో వీధి రాగానే ఎడమవైపు తిరగండి. — As soon as you reach the second street, turn left.
