జలం అంటే నీరు; గ్రంథభాషలో, కవిత్వంలో ఎక్కువగా వాడే మాట.

Jalam means water; it is a word used more in literary and formal language than in everyday speech.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. నీరు; తాగడానికి, వ్యవసాయానికి, జీవజాలానికి అవసరమైన ద్రవం.

    Water; the liquid necessary for drinking, farming and all living things.

    రోజువారీ మాటలో "నీళ్లు", "నీరు" అంటారు; జలం సాధారణంగా రాతలో, సమాసాల్లో (జలాశయం, నదీజలాలు) కనిపిస్తుంది.

    • నదీజలాలు పొలాలకు ప్రాణాధారం. — River water is the lifeblood of the fields.
    • పూజకు కొంచెం పవిత్ర జలం కావాలి. — Some sacred water is needed for the worship.
