కాల్చు అంటే నిప్పుతో దేనినైనా కాల్చడం; తుపాకీ వంటి వాటిని పేల్చడం కూడా ఈ పదంతో చెబుతారు.

Kalchu is the verb to burn or roast something with fire; it is also used for firing a gun.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. నిప్పుతో దేనినైనా కాల్చడం; నిప్పు మీద వేడి చేసి వండటం.

    To burn something, or to roast it over a fire. In a sentence it changes, for example కాల్చాడు (he burned), కాలుస్తాడు (he burns).

    • వాళ్ళు చెత్తను కాల్చారు. — They burned the rubbish.
    • మొక్కజొన్న పొత్తులు నిప్పుల మీద కాల్చాము. — We roasted the corn cobs over the embers.

  2. తుపాకీ వంటి వాటిని పేల్చడం.

    To fire a gun.

    • వేటగాడు తుపాకీ కాల్చాడు. — The hunter fired the gun.
