కూర అంటే అన్నంతో లేదా రొట్టెతో తినడానికి కూరగాయలు వంటి వాటితో వండిన పదార్థం; కూరగాయ కూడా.

Koora means a curry, a cooked dish eaten with rice or flatbread; it is also used for a vegetable.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. అన్నంతో లేదా రొట్టెతో కలిపి తినడానికి కూరగాయలు మొదలైన వాటితో వండిన పదార్థం.

    A curry; a dish cooked from vegetables or other ingredients to be eaten with rice or flatbread.

    • ఈ రోజు వంకాయ కూర చేశాను. — Today I made brinjal curry.
    • అన్నంలోకి ఏ కూర కావాలి? — Which curry do you want with the rice?

  2. వండుకోవడానికి వాడే కాయ, ఆకు, దుంప వంటివి; కూరగాయ.

    A vegetable; the raw produce such as fruits, leaves and roots used for cooking.

    ఈ అర్థంలో సాధారణంగా కూరగాయలు అని కూడా అంటారు; "ఆకుకూర" వంటి సమాసాల్లో కూడా కనిపిస్తుంది.

    • సంతలో కూరలు తాజాగా ఉన్నాయి. — The vegetables at the weekly market are fresh.
