లేదు అంటే లేదని, కాదని చెప్పే మాట; ఉంది అనేదానికి వ్యతిరేకం.

Ledu means there is not, or no: the negative of "is there".

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. ఏదైనా లేదని చెప్పడానికి వాడే మాట; ఉండటానికి వ్యతిరేకం.

    There is not: used to say that something does not exist or is absent.

    బహువచనం కోసం "లేవు" అని వాడతారు.

    • ఇప్పుడు నా దగ్గర డబ్బు లేదు. — I have no money with me now.
    • ఇంట్లో నీళ్ళు లేవు. — There is no water in the house.

  2. ఒక ప్రశ్నకు "లేదు/కాదు" అని చెప్పే జవాబు.

    No: a negative answer to a question.

    • నువ్వు భోజనం చేశావా? లేదు, ఇంకా చేయలేదు. — Have you eaten? No, not yet.
