భార్య లేదా భర్త తండ్రిని, అలాగే తల్లి సోదరుడిని సూచించే బంధుత్వ పదం.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. భార్య లేదా భర్త యొక్క తండ్రి; అత్తమామలలో పురుషుడు.

    Father-in-law: the father of one's wife or husband.

    • మా మామ గారు రేపు ఊరి నుంచి వస్తున్నారు. — My father-in-law is coming from his town tomorrow.

  2. తల్లి సోదరుడు; మేనమామ.

    Maternal uncle: the brother of one's mother.

    తల్లి సోదరుడిని మేనమామ అని కూడా అంటారు. కుటుంబ వరసను బట్టి అర్థం మారుతుంది.

    • సెలవుల్లో నేను మామ ఇంటికి వెళ్ళాను. — During the holidays I went to the house of my maternal uncle.
