మినుములు అంటే చిన్న, నల్లని తొక్క గల పప్పు ధాన్యపు గింజలు; తొక్క తీసిన పప్పును మినపప్పు అంటారు.

Minumulu are black gram (urad), small pulse seeds with a black skin; the pulse with the skin removed is called minapappu.
