నాటు అంటే మొక్కను, నారును నేలలో వేసి నిలబెట్టడం; ఒక కర్రను నేలలో గట్టిగా దింపడం.

Naatu is the verb to plant: to set a sapling or seedling in the ground, or to fix a stake firmly into it.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. మొక్కను, నారును నేలలో వేసి నిలబెట్టడం.

    To plant a sapling or seedling in the ground. In a sentence it changes, for example నాటాడు (he planted), నాటుతాడు (he plants).

    • రైతులు వరి నారు నాటుతున్నారు. — The farmers are transplanting paddy seedlings.
    • అతను పెరట్లో మామిడి మొక్క నాటాడు. — He planted a mango sapling in the back yard.

  2. కర్రను, గుంజను నేలలో గట్టిగా దింపడం.

    To drive or fix a stake or pole firmly into the ground.

    • కంచె కోసం నేలలో గుంజలు నాటారు. — They fixed posts in the ground for the fence.
