నది అంటే భూమిపై సహజంగా ఏర్పడి, సముద్రంలోకి లేదా మరో నదిలోకి ప్రవహించే పెద్ద నీటి ప్రవాహం.

Nadi means a river: a large natural stream of water flowing towards the sea or into another river.
