నక్షత్రం

నక్షత్రం అంటే రాత్రి ఆకాశంలో మెరిసే తార; సంప్రదాయ జ్యోతిషంలో చంద్రుడు సంచరించే భాగాలలో ఒకటి కూడా.

Nakshatram means a star shining in the night sky; in traditional astrology it is also one of the lunar divisions of the sky.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. రాత్రి ఆకాశంలో చిన్న వెలుగు బిందువులా కనిపించే, సొంత వెలుగు కలిగిన ఖగోళ వస్తువు; తార.

    Star: a self-luminous heavenly body seen as a point of light in the night sky.

    • రాత్రి ఆకాశంలో వేలాది నక్షత్రాలు కనిపించాయి. — Thousands of stars were visible in the night sky.

  2. సంప్రదాయ జ్యోతిషంలో చంద్రుడు ఒక్కోరోజు ఉండే ఆకాశ భాగం; జన్మనక్షత్రం వంటి వాటిలో ఈ అర్థంలో వాడతారు.

    In traditional astrology, one of the divisions of the sky through which the moon moves (traditionally counted as twenty-seven); used in phrases such as janma nakshatram, birth star.
