పెట్టు అంటే ఒక వస్తువును ఒక చోట ఉంచడం; భోజనం వడ్డించడం కూడా ఈ పదంతో చెబుతారు.

Pettu is the verb to put or place something somewhere; it is also used for serving food to someone.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. ఒక వస్తువును ఒక చోట ఉంచడం.

    To put or place something somewhere. In a sentence it changes, for example పెడతాడు (he puts), పెట్టాడు (he put).

    • పుస్తకం బల్ల మీద పెట్టాను. — I put the book on the table.
    • తాళం చెవి ఎక్కడ పెట్టావు? — Where did you put the key?

  2. ఒకరికి అన్నం, భోజనం వడ్డించడం.

    To serve food to someone, as in అన్నం పెట్టు (to give someone a meal).

    • అమ్మ అందరికీ అన్నం పెట్టింది. — Mother served rice to everyone.
