అర్థాలు Senses

  1. ముందుకు కొనసాగడం; జరుగుతూ ఉండటం.

    To go on, proceed or continue: for something to move ahead or carry on.

    • ఊరేగింపు వీధి వెంట సాగుతోంది. — The procession is moving along the street.
    • పని ఎటువంటి ఆటంకం లేకుండా సాగింది. — The work went on without any hindrance.

  2. భూమిని దున్ని పంటలు పండించడం; వ్యవసాయం.

    Cultivation: the work of ploughing land and growing crops (used as a noun).

    ఈ అర్థంలో నామవాచకంగా వాడతారు, ఉదాహరణకు "వరి సాగు".

    • ఈ ఏడాది రైతులు వరి సాగు చేశారు. — This year the farmers cultivated paddy.
