షష్ఠి

షష్ఠి అంటే చాంద్రమాన పక్షంలో ఆరో రోజు; వ్యాకరణంలో ఆరో విభక్తి.

Shashthi means the sixth: the sixth day of a lunar fortnight, and in grammar the sixth case (the genitive).

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. చాంద్రమాన పక్షంలో (శుక్ల, కృష్ణ పక్షాల్లో) ఆరో రోజు, లేదా ఆ తిథి.

    • పంచాంగంలో ఈ రోజు షష్ఠి అని ఉంది. — The almanac says that today is the sixth lunar day.

  2. వ్యాకరణంలో ఆరో విభక్తి (షష్ఠీ విభక్తి); దీనికి "యొక్క" అనే అర్థం ఉంటుంది.
