కథ అంటే జరిగిన లేదా ఊహించిన సంఘటనలను వరుసగా చెప్పే రచన లేదా మాట.

Katha means a story: an account, written or spoken, of real or imagined events told in order.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. జరిగిన లేదా ఊహించిన సంఘటనలను క్రమంగా చెప్పే రచన లేదా మాట.

    A story or tale; an account of real or imagined events told in sequence.

    • అమ్మమ్మ రాత్రి పడుకునే ముందు మాకు కథ చెబుతుంది. — Grandmother tells us a story every night before we go to sleep.
    • ఆ సినిమా కథ చాలా సరళంగా ఉంది. — The story of that film is very simple.

  2. జరిగిన సంగతి, వృత్తాంతం; మాటల్లో "అసలు విషయం" అనే అర్థంలో కూడా వాడతారు.

    The matter or the real account of what happened; in everyday speech it can mean "the whole affair".

    ఈ అర్థం వాడుక మాటలో ఎక్కువగా కనిపిస్తుంది (సరిచూడాలి).

    • అసలు కథ ఏమిటో నాకు చెప్పు. — Tell me what the real story is.
