పంపు అంటే ఒక వ్యక్తిని లేదా వస్తువును ఒక చోటికి వెళ్లేలా చేయడం; అదే రూపం గల నామవాచకంగా నీటి పంపు.

Pampu is the verb to send: to cause a person or thing to go to a place; the same spelling is also a noun for a water pump or tap.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. ఒక వ్యక్తిని లేదా వస్తువును ఒక చోటికి వెళ్లేలా చేయడం.

    To send. In a sentence it changes, for example పంపాడు (he sent), పంపుతాడు (he sends).

    • అమ్మ నన్ను దుకాణానికి పంపింది. — Mother sent me to the shop.
    • నేను నీకు ఉత్తరం పంపుతాను. — I will send you a letter.

  2. నామవాచకంగా: నీటిని పైకి తోడే యంత్రం లేదా నీళ్లు వచ్చే కుళాయి.

    As a noun: a pump for raising water, or a hand pump or tap from which water is drawn.

    ఇది అదే రూపం గల వేరే పదం; క్రియతో సంబంధం లేదు.

    • వీధిలో నీళ్ల పంపు దగ్గర వరుస ఉంది. — There is a queue at the water pump on the street.
