A Telugu poet and story writer of the mid-20th century, seen as one of the poets who moved from the romantic tradition toward modern poetry; his collection Amrutam Kurisina Ratri is his best known.

తిలక్ 1921లో జన్మించి 1966లో మరణించారని సాధారణంగా చెబుతారు; అంటే చిన్న వయసులోనే కన్నుమూశారు. ఆయన కవిత్వంతో పాటు కథలు, నాటికలు కూడా రాశారని చెబుతారు (సరిచూడాలి).

Tilak is generally said to have been born in 1921 and to have died in 1966, that is, at a relatively young age. Besides poetry, he is said to have written stories and short plays (subject to verification).
