Veturi Prabhakara Sastri was a Telugu scholar and researcher of the 20th century, a name linked with the discovery of the writings of Annamayya (subject to verification).

వేటూరి ప్రభాకరశాస్త్రి సుమారు 1888లో జన్మించి సుమారు 1950లో మరణించారని సాధారణంగా చెబుతారు (సరిచూడాలి). ఆయన తెలుగు సాహిత్య పరిశోధకుడు, పండితుడు. సినిమా గేయ రచయిత వేటూరి సుందరరామమూర్తి వేరొకరు; ఇద్దరినీ కలపకూడదు.

Veturi Prabhakara Sastri is generally said to have been born around 1888 and to have died around 1950 (subject to verification). He was a researcher and scholar of Telugu literature. The film lyricist Veturi Sundararama Murthy is a different person; the two should not be confused.

He is said to have had a part in bringing to light the copper plates at Tirumala on which the songs of Annamayya are inscribed (subject to verification).
