2. కవిత్వం, నాటకం వంటి కళలను చదివే లేదా చూసే వారికి కలిగే ఆనందపూర్వకమైన అనుభూతి; శృంగారం, హాస్యం, కరుణ వంటి నవరసాలలో ఒకటి.

   Rasa (literary sentiment): in the Indian tradition of poetics, the aesthetic feeling a poem or play arouses in the reader or viewer, such as the comic or the pathetic, counted traditionally as nine.

   Rasam: a thin, spicy and sour soup made with tamarind, pepper and other spices, usually eaten with rice.

   • అన్నంలో వేడి రసం కలుపుకుని తిన్నాం. — We ate rice mixed with hot rasam.
