యతి అంటే పద్య పాదంలో మొదటి అక్షరానికి, నిర్ణీత స్థానంలో ఉన్న అక్షరానికి మైత్రి ఉండాలనే ఛందస్సు నియమం.

Yati is a rule of Telugu prosody: the first letter of a line must be matched by an allowed letter at a fixed place later in the same line. The word also means an ascetic.

అర్థాలు Senses

  1. పద్య పాదంలో మొదటి అక్షరానికి, ఆ పాదంలో నిర్ణీత స్థానంలో ఉన్న అక్షరానికి మైత్రి ఉండాలనే ఛందస్సు నియమం.
