Katha (short story)
కథ అంటే ఒక సంఘటన లేదా అనుభవం చుట్టూ అల్లిన చిన్న రచన. ఆధునిక తెలుగు సాహిత్యంలో ఒకే విడతలో చదవగలిగేంత చిన్న వచన కథను కథానిక అని కూడా అంటారు.
A katha is a story: a short piece built around an event or an experience. In modern Telugu literature the short prose story is also called a kathanika.
నిర్వచనం Definition
కథ అనేది కొద్ది పాత్రలతో, ఒక కేంద్ర సంఘటన లేదా భావం చుట్టూ సాగే చిన్న కథనం. ఇది నవల కంటే చాలా చిన్నదిగా ఉంటుంది.
A katha is a short narrative with few characters, centred on one event or feeling. It is much shorter than a novel.
