Streevada sahityam (feminist writing)
స్త్రీవాద సాహిత్యం అంటే స్త్రీల అనుభవాన్ని, లింగ అసమానతను స్త్రీల దృష్టి నుంచి వ్యక్తం చేసే రచనలు. తెలుగులో ఇది ప్రత్యేక ధోరణిగా 1980లు, 1990ల నుంచి చర్చకు వచ్చిందని చెబుతారు (సరిచూడాలి).
Streevada sahityam is writing that expresses women's experience and gender inequality from a woman's point of view. In Telugu it is said to have come into discussion as a distinct trend from the 1980s and 1990s (subject to verification).
నిర్వచనం Definition
స్త్రీవాదం అంటే స్త్రీ పురుషుల మధ్య సమానత్వాన్ని కోరే దృక్పథం. స్త్రీవాద సాహిత్యం స్త్రీల అనుభవాలను, కుటుంబంలో, సమాజంలో వారి స్థానాన్ని, లింగ ఆధారిత అసమానతను ఈ దృక్పథంతో చిత్రించే రచనలను సూచిస్తుంది.
Streevada (feminism) is an outlook that seeks equality between women and men. Streevada sahityam refers to writing that portrays women's experiences, their place in the family and society, and gender-based inequality from this outlook.
లక్షణాలు How to recognise it
తరచు చెప్పే లక్షణాలు: స్త్రీల స్వరంలో ఆత్మాభివ్యక్తి, కుటుంబ సంబంధాలు, శరీరం, శ్రమ, హింసపై ప్రశ్నలు, సంప్రదాయ పాత్రలను కొత్త దృష్టితో చూడడం. అన్ని రచనల్లో ఇవన్నీ ఉంటాయని కాదు.
Features often mentioned: self-expression in women's voices, questions about family relations, the body, labour and violence, and seeing traditional characters afresh. Not every work shows all of these.
