పంచమీ తత్పురుష సమాసం
Panchami tatpurusha (fifth-case dependent compound)
పంచమీ తత్పురుష సమాసం అంటే పూర్వపదంలో పంచమీ విభక్తి (వేరుపడటం లేదా హేతువు అర్థం, "వలన", "నుండి") లోపించిన తత్పురుషం. విగ్రహవాక్యంలో పూర్వపదానికి "వలన" లేదా "నుండి" చేర్చి చెబుతాం.
A panchami tatpurusha is a tatpurusha in which the fifth case (separation or cause, with words like "valana" or "nunchi") is dropped from the first member. The analysing phrase puts "valana" or "nunchi" back after it.
నిర్వచనం Definition
పంచమీ తత్పురుషం తత్పురుష సమాసంలో ఒక ఉపరకం. ఇందులో పూర్వపదం పంచమీ విభక్తి భావంతో (దేనివల్ల, దేనినుండి అన్న అర్థంతో) ఉంటుంది, కానీ ఆ ప్రత్యయం సమాసంలో కనిపించదు. ఉత్తరపదం ప్రధానం.
ఉదాహరణకు 'దొంగభయం' = దొంగవలన భయం.
The panchami tatpurusha is a subkind of tatpurusha. Its first member carries the sense of the fifth case (because of what, from what), but the ending does not appear in the compound. The last member is the main one.
For example, dongabhayam = dongavalana bhayam, "fear of a thief" (fear arising from a thief).

How to recognise it: when opening the compound up, put "valana" or "nunchi" after the first member. If the sense fits and the last member is the main one, it is a panchami tatpurusha.
dongabhayam = dongavalana bhayam, "fear because of a thief".
rinavimuktudu = rinamunchi vimuktudu, "one freed from debt".
Textbooks say that last members with senses like fear, freedom or distance are common in this kind (subject to verification).
గమనికలు Notes
ఇది తత్పురుషం యొక్క విభక్తి ఉపరకాల్లో ఒకటి. ఉపరకాల పేర్లు, ఒక సమస్త పదం ఏ ఉపరకంలో చేరుతుందన్నది గ్రంథాన్ని బట్టి మారతాయి (సరిచూడాలి). ఇక్కడి విగ్రహవాక్యాలు ఒక విధమైన విశ్లేషణ మాత్రమే.
This is one of the case-based subkinds of tatpurusha. The names and which subkind a given compound goes into differ by book (subject to verification). The analysing phrases here are one possible analysis only.
