అనునాసికసంధి సంస్కృత సంధుల్లో ఒకటి, హల్సంధుల్లో చేర్చి చెబుతారు. 'అనునాసికం' అంటే ముక్కు సహాయంతో పలికే వర్ణం: ఙ, ఞ, ణ, న, మ. పదం చివరి క, చ, ట, త, ప లలో ఒకదానికి న లేదా మ వంటి అనునాసికం పరమైనప్పుడు, ఆ చివరి వర్ణం తన వర్గపు అనునాసికంగా మారుతుంది.

Anunasika sandhi is one of the Sanskrit sandhis, and is usually counted among the halsandhis. An "anunasika" is a nasal sound: nga, nya, na (retroflex), na and ma. When a nasal such as na or ma follows a word that ends in one of ka, cha, ta, ta or pa, that final sound turns into the nasal of its own class.

నియమం (పాఠ్యపుస్తక రూపంలో): వర్గ ప్రథమాక్షరాలైన క, చ, ట, త, ప లకు అనునాసికం పరమైతే అవి వరుసగా ఙ, ఞ, ణ, న, మ లవుతాయి.

ఉదాహరణలు:

వాక్ + మయం = వాఙ్మయం

జగత్ + నాథుడు = జగన్నాథుడు

చిత్ + మయం = చిన్మయం

The rule, in textbook form: when a nasal follows ka, cha, ta, ta or pa, these become nga, nya, na (retroflex), na and ma respectively.

Examples:

vak + mayam = vangmayam

jagat + nathudu = jagannathudu

chit + mayam = chinmayam

పేరు, నియమం చెప్పే తీరు, ఇతర సందర్భాలు గ్రంథాన్ని బట్టి మారవచ్చు; మినహాయింపులు ఇక్కడ చేర్చలేదు (సరిచూడాలి).
