నిర్వచనం Definition

తెలుగు వ్యాకరణ గ్రంథాలు, పాఠ్యపుస్తకాలు సాధారణంగా ఈ అంశాలను క్రమంగా చర్చిస్తాయి: వర్ణాలు (అచ్చులు, హల్లులు), పదాలు (నామవాచకం, సర్వనామం, క్రియ వంటి రకాలు; విభక్తులు; లింగం, వచనం), పదాల కలయికలు (సంధి, సమాసం), వాక్య నిర్మాణం.

ఛందస్సు, అలంకారాలు పాఠశాలల్లో వ్యాకరణంతో పాటు నేర్పే ఇతర భాషాంశాలు; ఈ సైట్‌లో అవి 'భాషా విజ్ఞానం' విభాగంలో ఉన్నాయి.

Telugu grammar books and textbooks usually take up these topics in turn: sounds and letters (vowels, consonants); words (kinds such as noun, pronoun and verb; cases; gender and number); the joining of words (sandhi and compounds); and the structure of sentences.

Prosody (chandassu) and figures of speech (alankaralu) are other language topics taught alongside grammar in schools; on this site they sit in the section "Language and literary knowledge".
